I grew up travelling all over the world with my family and knew this was the right industry for me. I’ve gained 12 years’ experience, working for some of the biggest names in travel

I started my career in travel working for TUI in a retail store, where I worked up to be Assistant Manager. I then joined luxury tour operator Kuoni, again as an Assistant Manager in a retail store, this was a really exciting role, where I got to design and sell incredible worldwide tailormade holidays.

My most recent role was as a Business Development Manager for a travel franchise company.  My role was to train and coach new franchisees, to give them the knowledge to be a travel agent, help build their business and grow their sales.  

My role at the Holiday Franchise Company is to support new franchisees with their onboarding experience, by delivering their 1:1 induction training, giving them the skills and knowledge to be successful travel agent and business owner. I’m also part of the Partnership Team, that helps provide guidance to those looking to start a travel agency, as well as ensuring we are partnering with the right people

Our comprehensive training program Journey To Success is accredited by The Institute of Travel and Tourism.

Your one-to-one training is completely flexible, offering you the opportunity to spread the training out over a period of time, to help you manage your schedule.

We advise having approximately two weeks between each training day, giving you the opportunity to absorb more information and make the most of each session.

Journey To Success Our eLearning Platform

The Journey to Success Portal is our inhouse custom built eLearning platform, which is an extension to our accredited one-to-one training program. This system allows you to be able to take your training to the next level with 24-hour access from any device.

The tagline on our homepage is ‘Knowledge on Demand’, and on the Journey to Success portal, this really is the case. We have thousands of videos, training documents, guides, hotel fact sheets, brochures, and images that users can access whenever and wherever they want.

Our role within The Holiday Franchise Company is to help and develop the franchisees to help grow their business and help answer any questions. 

Jenna – I have been in the travel industry for 18 years; Travel is something I am very passionate about and enjoy. For the 18 years, I have always been a seller, I have worked for Thomas Cook and served the most with Midcounties Coop Travel. I now have this fantastic opportunity to put my previous selling skills to good use and support the new business franchises with their businesses.

Kimberly – I studied Travel & Tourism after completing this I went on to work for Thomas Cook where I worked for 8 years, this is where I learnt many skills. When I was 26 I went travelling to Australia and Thailand.

The Holidays Franchise Company is run by travel experts, our team have worked for some of the biggest names in the industry, so they understand the role of a travel agent and the skills and knowledge needed to be successful.

We hold our annual team conference where we mix both business and pleasure. We enjoy networking with each other, it is a great opportunity to share tips.

We bring in suppliers to upskill us on destination and product knowledge, and our favourite part is the annual company awards, where we recognise a host of different achievements.

Hear to help will consist of a number of different methods to promote sales and support you in implementing our bespoke sales process Sales Through Service into your daily role currently these consist of:

  • Monthly challenges/goals
  • Weekly/monthly anonymous leader board, including details on homeworker performance for comparison

As part of the launch of ‘Hear to Help’ we are introducing ‘call coaching’


To support you in implementing our bespoke sales process we will be offering call coaching, ensuring you are confident in all areas from connecting the call to handling objections. This is a fantastic opportunity to understand your strengths and the areas of the sales process you can build on.


With most sales roles, call coaching is a fantastic way to build on your sales techniques, and understand your strengths and areas of opportunity.
